Homeschool
In the past few years, more and more home-educated students have made Clayton State their choice for postsecondary education. We are very open to working with home-educated students and their parents, and believe that taking an individualized approach to the admissions process benefits the student. Therefore, we suggest that you speak with an admissions (Schedule appointment with admissions counselors form) once you have decided to apply to Clayton State. At that time, the counselor will go over the admission process and answer any questions you may have.
Students who complete an accredited home-school program are guaranteed admission provided they meet the basic admission requirements for recent high school graduates. Each applicant for admission is evaluated carefully on an individual basis, taking into account indicators of ability to succeed at Clayton State. The most important factors we consider are curriculum and performance in academic course work. Standardized test scores are weighed in relation to a student's curriculum and academic performance.
