Important Visa Information
Applicants who require assistance to study in the U.S. must supply evidence that sufficient funds are available for the first year of study. These documents include:
- Letter of Support
Please provide a letter from the person who will be responsible for your financial support while you are at Clayton State University. If more than one person will be assisting you, then you will need each one to provide a letter indicating how much support they plan to give you. - Bank Reference
Each person providing support for you must arrange for his or her bank to send a letter confirming that sufficient funds are available to support you while you study at Clayton State University. The estimated cost for two semesters at Clayton State University for the 2006-07 school year is $21,000. This includes tuition as well as required university fees. And estimates for books, housing, and personal expenses.
Permanent residents and applicants in other immigrant/non-immigrant categories must bring their immigration documents to the Admissions Office. Such documents may include...

Permanent residents and those in non-immigrant status other than F-1 are not required to provide financial support documents.
