She was a three-year letterwinner at Clayton State and a member of the school’s first conference championship team in 2004-05. She also served as the SAAC President for the Peachbelt Conference and was a two-time recipient of the Peachbelt Presidential Honor Roll. A proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority incorporated, Taylor was also voted Homecoming Queen in 2005 at Clayton State.
