Sharon R. Duhart (B.B.A. - MGMT ’03) - Graduated from Georgia State in May ’06 (M.S. Educational Research). Starts Ph.D. program at Georgia State in the Fall. She is the business manager for the P16 Initiatives Department at the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia.

Gail Buckner (A.A. - Education ‘77) - Buckner, the recipient of Clayton State’s Most Outstanding Alumni award in 2002 and a Georgia House Representative, is a candidate for Secretary of State.

Chris Menard (B.B.A. - ACCT ‘94) --- Menard’s Triality Business Solutions recently launched a new website for Kabobs, a local business in Lake City. Kabobs was recently featured on the Food Network.

Leigh (DUNCAN) Wills (B.A. Integrative Studies ‘04) -- Leigh, a Public Relations/Media Specialist in Clayton State’s Office of University Relations, was married to Russ Wills in May.

JANICE WILLIAMS (B.S. - HEALTH CARE MGMT ‘02) - Williams will graduate in July from the University of Phoenix with my masters in Health Care Administration.

Angela (Davis) Baddock (B.A. - Music ‘03 & Shaun Baddock (Info Tech - ’03) - Davis & Baddock, both Clayton State grads were married in February of 2005. Shaun, a former men’s soccer player, recently accepted a position as a web specialist at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Angela, who performs as a violin soloist and gives lessons, will receive her master’s in music education from UGA in December.

Ray McBerry (A.A. - Education ‘90) - McBerry, a self-employed Independent Contractor in the advertising field, working primarily with the SBN Television Network in the south Atlanta region and president of DixieBroadcasting Radio, is a candidate for Governor.

Perry Slaughter (B.A. Technology Management ‘00) -- Slaughter, owner of Run Fit Sports, Inc. in Macon, Ga., was recently named the women’s cross country coach at Wesleyan College in Macon. He will be the school’s first cross country coach, with the program, beginning its first season in the fall of 2006.

Jan Dunaway (A.S. Nursing ‘75) -- Dunaway, a resident of Decatur and sister of Clayton State alumni and Public Safety employee Joan Murphy, was recently honored by the Georgia House in having Resolution 1808 resolved in her honor. A concerned citizen of DeKalb County for more than a decade, she has established neighborhood watch programs and become a self-educated and highly informed expert in the area of environmental protection.
