Annual Martin Luther King (MLK), Jr. Celebration
- MLK March January 21, 2010
The MLK March is a collaborative effort between the Department of Campus Life and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated to commemorate the life of Dr. King and significant events that occurred during the Civil Rights Movement.
Cultural Immersion Trip January 22-24, 2010
- The Cultural Immersion Trip is in Memphis, Tennessee. Students will have the opportunity to learn in depth information about MLK, the Civil Rights Movement and explore the cultural aspects of this area.
Culture Shock Week March 29 – April 2, 2010
- A week-long, campus-wide event that will celebrate cultural differences and promote cross-cultural interaction.
Cultural Heritage Months Celebrations
- Hispanic Heritage Month September 15- October 15, 2009
- Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) History Month October 2009
