Reading Skills (4 credit hours):
This course emphasizes inferential, interpretive, and critical reading comprehension strategies. It also focuses on analysis, synthesis, and evaluation of text as well as efficient reading, study and test-taking skills. Lecture and group participation are used in this course. Students must exit this course before taking any courses in the Core Curriculum (Areas A-F).
