  Career Counseling

One thing most Clayton State students have in common is the desire for their education to improve their career situation. Counseling is about helping students move from "just a job" to discovering more meaningful rewards in a career. Our focus is on the individual and his or her contribution to society. In the process, we often employ tools to help us and will link students with information to help them explore possibilities.

  Career Testing Information

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI) assessment is the most commonly used personality assessment in the world. This measurement offers insight on the way we think, communicate, and interact. The MBTI is a wonderful tool to gain knowledge about your personality strengths. Additionally the MBTI examines individual strengths and limitations to promote both personal and professional development.

For nearly 80 years, the Strong Interest Inventory® (SII) assessment has been the most respected and widely used career-planning instrument in the world. The SII identifies career choices, college major options, and specialized areas of interests for individuals in search of insight for career decision-making and planning.

These assessments are available for a fee for Clayton State students.

Strong Interest Inventory: $12

MBTI: $18

Strong Interest Inventory and MBTI: $30

Contact our office at (678) 466-5406 if interested in taking these assessments.
