Group Counseling Spring 2008 Schedule


Let’s Get Personal
Wednesdays | 12:30 p.m. – 1:20 p.m.
Starting
March 12th - April 30

Facilitators: Shiraz Karaa, LPC and Christine Smith, Ph.D.

This group is designed to help students understand their interpersonal styles and how others perceive them. Students will gain insight into how they come across to others and develop skills to improve their relationships.
 

The Women’s Network
1st and 3rd Tuesdays (bi-monthly)| 2 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Starting February 5th

Facilitators: Patres Hillis, LAPC and Elaina Chance, LPC

The Women’s Network is a group for all female students of Clayton State. Issues unique to women and the various roles women hold will be discussed. Additionally, healthy coping skills for success will be introduced.

Are you in college after graduating from high school five or more years ago? Do you work full time or attend college part time? Are you married, a parent, and/or a veteran? If you answered “yes” to one or more of these questions, this may be the group for you.  Come, meet, and share your struggles as well as your triumphs with other nontraditional students .


All groups require an individual screening with a counselor. Please contact Counseling Services at (678) 466- 5406 to schedule your screening or to gain more information about our groups or other services offered.
