Communications and Technology Services
Communications and Technology Services (CTS) at Clayton State University provides computing support for all areas of the campus. The supported services include administrative applications, instructional support, client services --"The HUB", and telecommunications and networking.
The System's Development team is responsible for mission critical administrative applications such as BANNER Student, BANNER Financial Aid, BANNER Accounts Receivable, Alumni & Development applications, and the Department of Technical and Adult Education (DTAE) reporting. They are also responsible for interfacing with other campus applications such as the LINX card system.
The Instructional Technology team assists the campus users with web pages and applications, second tier PC application support, and online document access.
The HUB is responsible for first line hardware and software support for desktop and Notebook computers. They are available for walk-up, call-in (770.960.HELP), and scheduled in-office service. The HUB is also the center for faculty notebook distribution.
Telecommunications and Networking maintains the campus servers and client server applications. They are also responsible for the coordination of telephone installation and service.
