The Institute of
Management Accountants (IMA) Scholarships
These
scholarships are available to accounting and finance
students. Scholarship amount vary. The application
can be found on the IMA
website. Application deadline is February 15,
2008.
ADHA Institute for Oral Health Scholarships
The American Dental Hygienists’ Association offers
scholarships to dental hygiene students pursuing their
associate, baccalaureate or graduate degrees. Requirements are
specific for the scholarship program selected by the student.

Allied Health Scholarship for Dental Hygiene
The
American Dental Association Endowment and Assistance Fund, Inc.
provides several $1,000 allied health scholarships for dental
hygiene students enrolled in programs accredited by the
Commission on Dental Accreditation. The scholarships are based
on financial need, academic achievement, personal and
professional goals and character references. Information on

The Geneseo Migrant Center, Inc.
The Geneseo
Migrant Center, Inc. provides financial assistance to encourage
and support deserving migrant students in the pursuit of their
educational goals. The Center prides itself on the fact that no
expenses are charged against the scholarship funds that it
administers, thus assuring that all contributions are used to
directly benefit migrant students. Application information is

Georgia Helping Educate Reservists and the Offspring
(HERO)
The Georgia HERO (Helping Educate Reservists and
their Offspring) Scholarship program was created to provide
educational grant assistance to members of the Georgia National
Guard and U.S. Military Reservists who served in combat zones or
the children of such members of the Georgia National Guard and
U.S. Military Reserves. The HERO Scholarship Program is
administered by the Georgia Student Finance Commission (GSFC).
Recipients may receive up to $2,000 per academic school year for
each qualifying term of service of 181 consecutive days, for a
maximum of $8,000 for the equivalent of four years of study.
Award amounts are prorated for school terms in which recipients
are enrolled for less than fulltime (12 hours). Go to the GACollege411

Governor's Scholarship Program
The Governor's
Scholarship Program recognizes Georgia's high school
Valedictorians and STAR Students and encourages them to attend a
public or private college or university in Georgia by providing
scholarship funds. The scholarship is administered by the
Georgia Student Finance Commission (GSFC). The maximum award
amount is $900 per academic year. (Budgeted each year by the
Georgia Legislature. The amount of the award may change.) Go to

Helen T. Carr Fellowship For HBCU Students
Recognizing the unique role of Historically Black Engineering
Colleges (HBEC) in providing technical talent to the nation, it
shall be the mission to support and strengthen these
institutions as a major resource of African-American engineering
graduates. The Committee will work towards the goal of quality
engineering education by engaging in programs to increase
awareness of the need for African-American PhD's in engineering
education and other efforts which will increase the pool of such
talent in engineering. Award Amount: $10,000. Deadline:

Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship
The Robert C.
Byrd Honors Scholarship promotes academic achievement and
rewards exceptional high school students who show promise of
continued excellence by providing scholarship funds for study at
the college level. The scholarship is administered by the
Georgia Student Finance Commission (GSFC). Approximately 200
awards are made annually to entering college freshmen. The
maximum award amount is $1,500 per academic year. The
scholarship can be renewed for an additional three years of
