Before viewing the scholarships offered, please read over the Frequently Asked Questions. They should answer most of your questions about scholarships at Clayton State. We have also organized the scholarship information below for your convenience.
Types of Scholarships
General Information
By completing our scholarship application, you will be considered for all scholarships listed in the Academic Scholarships section for which you qualify.
To apply for the Institutional Scholarships or Private Scholarships listed, you must contact the department or organization listed in that particular scholarship's section. Keep in mind that the application deadlines for these scholarships may vary.
For scholarships which are noted as "need based", you must complete a 2008-2009 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You can apply online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov after January 1, 2008.
For scholarships that require enrollment verification, you can obtain this information via the DUCK. It is the student's responsibility to obtain this information and provide it with the scholarship application.
Application Admission Requirements
The Office of Admissions must receive an admissions application and official copies of high school and/or college transcripts by the scholarship deadline. New freshmen and some transfer students will also be required to submit a copy of their SAT or ACT scores prior to the scholarship application deadline.
