Athletic Scholarships
Scholarships are available
for exceptional student athletes in all intercollegiate sports.

Clayton State University Women’s Forum
Clayton State University Women’s Forum exists to promote and enhance
the professional, educational, and cultural position of Clayton
State women students and employees and to endow an annual
scholarship. If you are a Clayton State University female student or female
fulltime staff member and would like to apply for one of the
scholarships, information can be found at the Women's
Forum website.
Emile T. Fisher Foundation for Dental
Education in Georgia, Inc.
This scholarship provides two $500 scholarships for Clayton
State senior dental hygiene students each fall. To apply for the
scholarship, students must have a minimum 2.5 grade point
average and intend to practice in Georgia. Applications are
emailed to eligible students by the College of Professional
Studies.
Hinman Scholarships
The Hinman Dental Society
provides three scholarships for Clayton State University senior dental
hygiene students each year. The recipients are chosen on the
basis of scholarship, as well as financial need. Applications
are emailed to eligible students by the College of Professional
Studies.
Honors Program
The
Honors Program Scholarship is Clayton State University’s main academic scholarship for entering freshmen and
students entering their junior year of college. In
addition to receiving a monetary award, students selected for
the limited number of Honors scholarships enjoy the wide array
of benefits offered to all students in the Honors Program,
including special course sections reserved for Honors students,
priority registration, mentoring, career planning, and
opportunities for leadership and travel. Scholarships are
awarded competitively based on academic achievement and
participation in extracurricular activities. All Honors students
participate in the Honors Student Association. Currently
enrolled students and transfer students are admitted to the
program on a competitive, space available basis. For additional

Scholarships for Disadvantaged Students
These
scholarships may be available for students enrolled full-time in
nursing and dental hygiene. Applications will be available in
the appropriate departments after April 15th each year.
Funding decisions will not be reached before July 1st of each
year and are contingent upon federal awards of funds.
Southside Chapter of the Georgia Society of CPAs
The Southside Chapter of the Georgia Society of CPAs provides
scholarships to high achieving and active junior or senior
accounting majors. The minimum requirement is a 3.0 overall
cumulative grade point average with no grade less than a B in
accounting. At least one upper level accounting course must be
completed at Clayton State University. Other factors considered are class
participation and leadership, overall grade point average, and
an essay submitted by the student. Funding decisions will not be
reached before early 2008, and awards are contingent upon
receipt of scholarship funds. Contact the School of Business at

Spivey Music Scholarships
Spivey Music
Scholarships range from $300 per semester to full tuition and
fees. Eligible students may receive an award in addition to the
HOPE Scholarship. Audition is required for entrance into the
