New options are on the way for refunds of Financial Aid and Tuition
Clayton State is working with Higher One, a bank focused on serving higher education, to enhance the way we issue refunds of financial aid and tuition to students and to provide you several options for receiving your refund!
January and February Refunds will not be delayed!
If you are expecting a Financial Aid refund in January or February, you will receive it within the same timeframe as usual and it will be in the form of a paper check in the mail.
New options for refunds of Financial Aid and Tuition begin in March
Any refunds issued after approximately March 1, 2007, will be processed by Higher One and will offer you the following choices:
- Easy Refund: receive your refund via a checking account from Higher One accessed by the Clayton State OneCard
- Electronic transfer to your bank
- Paper check mailed to your home
Update your mailing address with the University
To assist with the conversion to Higher One, we are asking that all students verify and/or update their mailing address via The
DUCK by January 31, 2007
Even if you do not receive Financial Aid you may still be eligible for a refund of tuition if you drop a class or withdraw from classes.
The Clayton State OneCard does not replace your LakerCard for access to services on campus. More information about Higher One will be provided in the coming weeks.
