What is GIL Express?

GIL Express is an innovative resource sharing initiative that allows students, faculty and staff access to all eligible circulating material at all USG (University System of Georgia) libraries.

Two types of GIL Express Requesting:
On Site Requesting:  Allows you to go to any USG library of your choice and select the materials that you wish to check out. You will need your institution id or some form of government issued identification (Drivers License, military card, etc.).

Remote Requesting: Allows you to search a single online catalog (UC - Universal Catalog) for all USG libraries and request delivery of the books to the library of your choice.

Go to https://giluc.usg.edu to search the statewide catalog and make requests. Visit the GIL Express homepage at http://gilexpress.usg.edu/ for more detailed information.
