Gifts in Kind

The Clayton State Library welcomes and appreciates donations for its collections. Book donations are expected to meet the same standards of quality and relevance to the collection as purchased materials. It is the responsibility of the Director of Libraries to determine retention, location, and disposal of gifts. Gifts which support the University's curriculum and meet the mission of the Clayton State Library will be retained. Discarded materials are sold, transferred, or recycled.

Financial Gifts

The Clayton State University Library plays a pivotal role in the academic success of our students and faculty. The library supports their academic achievements and provides sources of information that are essential for teaching and learning. We actively seek and welcome your donations. Your gifts will help us maintain and enrich the quality of our collections, expand our resources, and improve our services.

Please consider lending your support to the Clayton State University Library through your financial gift to the Clayton State University Foundation.

  • Library - Books & Materials Fund: As the University continues to expand its programs, we must also broaden the scope of our collections. Your gift to this fund gives us the opportunity to add to our print and electronic collections.
  • Library - General Fund: Gifts to the general fund support several initiatives including: services and programs for our students, technology software and hardware, library equipment and furniture, and professional development for library staff.
  • Dare Fischer Memorial Fund: Gifts to this fund support the Clayton State University Archives and its initiatives: exhibits, internships, etc.

Gifts submitted by check should be made out to Clayton State University Foundation. Please include the name of the library fund in the memo line.
