Researching a Topic (Finding Books, Articles, Websites, and Tutorials)

Finding Books

GIL@CSU - books, videos, CDs at the Clayton State University Library

GIL Universal Catalog: The GIL Universal Catalog allows you to search libraries across the University System of Georgia. If you find a book you need, you can request it using GIL Express and have it delivered to a participating library near your home or workplace, including the Peachtree City Campus.

Finding Articles

GALILEO - provides access to over 100 databases indexing thousands of periodicals and scholarly journals. Over 2000 journal titles are provided in full-text. Other resources include encyclopedias, business directories, and government publications.  In order to access GALILEO off campus, you must have a password.  If you have previously used your Laker card to check out library materials, you can find the password online using Get the GALILEO password feature on GIL@CSU, the online catalog.  If you have not, please call the library at (678) 466-4345 to get the current semester password.

Other Databases  - Some databases require a user ID and password when accessed from off-campus.  Currently enrolled CSU students, faculty and staff may call the library at (678) 466-4345 to get the current semester password.
