A password is required for off campus (remote) access to GALILEO.  The password changes each semester.  Currently enrolled CSU students, faculty and staff may call the library at 678-466-4345 to get the current password.
If you have used your Laker card to check out library materials, you can get the password online by following the steps below:

1. Go to GIL@CSU - books, videos , CDs on the Library's homepage.

2. Click on Get GALILEO password.

3. At Patron Barcode, type in the Library System ID number (20278....) located on the bottom of your Laker card.

4. Type in your last name and click on the Logon to My Account button.

5. Click OK.

6. The GALILEO password, as well as passwords for other databases available to CSU patrons, will appear in the box at the top of the screen.

7. For patron security, select Logoff My Account at the bottom of the screen.

8. If you need further help, call the library at 678-466-4346 and ask to speak to a Reference Librarian.

*Students of other Georgia colleges and schools can get the password from their college or school library.  Residents of Georgia may get a password from their county public library.
