• Capital Project planning, estimating, bidding, and construction administration
• Communication and coordination with the University community and outside agencies through the entire project life-cycle
• Leadership and assistance in development of campus master plans, as well as the Universitie's six year capital plans
• Monitoring the design and construction/renovation of facilities
• Administration of outsourcing contracts
• Update of electronic files of architectural floor plans of the facilities
• Maintainance of facilities-related information
• Preparation of yearly Facilities Inventory Reports
• Preparation of yearly Facilities Funding Reports
• Management of the office, as well as supervision and the professional development and training of assigned professionals

Planning and Design Services office manages and controls resources allocated to Facilities Management for maintenance of campus facilities as well as new construction and renovation projects.
All requests for services and repairs within the campus are reviewed and transferred to the proper department or individual.
Centralized Facilities Management system keeps track of issued work requests as well as preventive maintenace requests. Access for work request status is available through Work Request Tracking
