A student who is a high school junior or senior may take courses at Clayton State University while still in high school and earn both high school and college credit. Orientation is required.

Joint-enrolled students are encouraged to attend the Freshman Orientation Session, although the Transfer Express session may also be an option for attendance.

How to Register for Orientation
Online registration is the quickest and most preferred way to register for an orientation session. Paying by credit/debit card will immediately ensure your seat at orientation. All fees are nonrefundable.
- Step 1: Log onto the SWAN and
activate your account at
https://swan.clayton.edu. You must Click on
the links that say “Lookup Username” and “Forgot
Password/Activate Account” to complete Step 1

- STEP 2: Once logged in, Click on the DUCK icon.
- STEP 3: Click on the Orientation Registration link and proceed with the instructions
