- One piece of advice to incoming students – Create a good support system-this includes people that support your education, mentors, family and friends; have good time management - don’t procrastinate and wait until the last minute to study for test or quizzes; have a good contact person and/or study partner in each class just in case you can’t make it to class, they can fill you in on what you missed; use your time wisely and constructively – if you have extra time on your hands, read an extra chapter of your class lesson; join a club or organization - get involved on your campus and give back; stay focused on your long-term goals; stay motivated and encourage - keeping a positive attitude will carry you a long way in life
