Register for Orientation
The quickest and easiest way to register for orientation is online using Option 1 below! If you choose to print a registration form and mail it in with payment, you can register with Option 2. If you would like to pay in person refer to our contact information at Option 3.
**Please Read: Orientation is a mandatory program for all incoming students (Freshman, Transfer and Nontraditional). Orientation reservations cannot be held without payment. Payment can be made via credit card using Option 1 or with a check/money order using Option 2 or 3.
Space at each orientation session is available on a first-reserve basis until sessions have reached their maximum capacity. All Orientation fees are nonrefundable. A confirmation letter is viewable via your DUCK account if you register on-line. If registration is completed via Option 2 or 3, a confirmation letter will be mailed to you in approximately 5-7 business days from the processing date.
Option 1: Online Registration
Select your orientation date and reserve your spot with online payment:
1. Obtain your Laker ID number by clicking on the following link: https://duck.clayton.edu/pls/banprod/ccsumgr.lakerid.home_page
WRITE THIS NUMBER DOWN!
2. Click on The Duck located under "Current Students" on the Clayton State University homepage (www.clayton.edu); then click on Personal Access/Login.
3. Enter your Laker ID number.
4. Enter your PIN. *Your initial PIN is your birthday (MMDDYY).
For example, if your birthday is January 31, 1980, enter 013180.
5. Click on Orientation Registration and proceed with registration.
Option 2: U.S. Postal Mail
1. Print and complete a copy of the registration form.

2. Submit your form along with the appropriate payment for your selected section.
Option 3: Walk In
1. Visit the Office of Orientation and New Student Programs before the reservation deadline in order to complete your registration process.
