1-87-RIDEFIND. 1-87-RIDEFIND represents a cooperative effort between the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC), the Georgia Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration. ARC's TDM Division operates and maintains a confidential, computerized regional ride match database (1-87-RIDEFIND) that matches commuters in the Atlanta region with potential carpool partners and provides vanpool information. The 1-87-RIDEFIND database serves individual commuters as well as employer services organizations, such as Transportation Management Associations (TMAs) and the Clean Air Campaign. 1-87-RIDEFIND will bring a Segway® Human Transporter to demonstrate.

Allan Vigil Ford. Allan Vigil Ford is one of the world’s largest freestanding dealerships has commenced operations on about 30 acres in Morrow, Georgia. Allan Vigil Ford is the largest minority-owned dealership in Georgia employing nearly 300 Georgia residents from 22 counties. As a community partner, Allan Vigil Ford helped to stimulate the state and local economy by exceeding $360 million in revenue over the past three years. Allan Vigil Ford will be exhibiting hybrids and low emission vehicles. 

Allied Health Care. Free massages.

American Heart Association. We serve the neighboring states of Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee. We are committed to reducing disability and death due to heart disease and stroke. Our goal is to reduce coronary heart disease, stroke and risk factors by 25 percent by 2010!

American Motorcycle Association. The American Motorcycle Association is a 265,000 member organization with a history of pursuing, protecting, and promoting the interest of motorcycle enthusiasts. The AMA was founded in 1924 and is the premier defender of motorcyclists' rights in the United States. Tom Eddins, School of Technology, will be recycling soft drink tabs to recycle into insulin needles.

Atlanta Bicycle Campaign. The Atlanta Bicycle Campaign is a member-supported organization working for better on-road bicycling conditions in metro-Atlanta. The ABC believes that truly healthy communities welcome bicyclists and provide a safe riding environment. We promote bicycle transportation, responsible recreational riding, and education for bicyclists and motorists alike.

Atlanta Gas Light. Atlanta Gas light is the largest natural gas distributor in the Southeast, serving 237 communities in the state of Georgia. It provides gas delivery service to more than 1.5 million residential, commercial and industrial customers.

Chick-Fil-A.  Chick-fil-A Dwarf House of Forest Park will have the "spin wheel" to spin to get free items. The Clayton State Science Association will be selling Chick-fil-A sandwiches for $3 as a fundraiser.

Clayton Co. Water Authority-Newman Wetlands Center. The Clayton County Water Authority is dedicated to natural resource conservation and strong environmental stewardship, and has implemented many excellent and innovative methods of providing water and wastewater services to our County. In addition, 3 reservoirs are open to the public for recreational fishing and picnicking; and 2 large community buildings may be rented for special events. Through the CCWA Newman Wetlands Center, we provide environmental education programs to children and adults throughout the year. This facility has a large interpretive building and museum, and a beautiful wetlands and wildlife refuge with trail and boardwalk, both of which are open to the public free of charge.

The Clean Air Campaign. The Clean Air Campaign is a not for profit organization that encourages Georgians to become proactive in reducing traffic congestion and improving air quality. We work with companies in the 20 metro non-attainment counties to increase awareness and customize commute programs for those companies. The Clean Air Campaign has teamed up with Star 94 to give away a Hybrid Honda Civic. The car will be on site at Earth Day for viewing. You will have to opportunity to register for it at The Clean Air Campaign or Star 94 booth. The drawing will be held in the fall.

Cochran Mill Nature Center. Cochran Mill Nature Center Teaches the importance of our roles in respecting the earth and each other through education and conservation. Located on 50 private acres in south Fulton County. The Center specializes in Environmental Education and Wildlife Rehabilitation. Will bring several types of snakes and an American alligator.

Environmental Protection Agency.  The mission of the Environmental Protection Agency is to protect human health and the environment. Since 1970, EPA has been working for a cleaner, healthier environment for the American people.

EV Club of the South. The EV Club of the South is dedicated to the successful growth of electric vehicles in the US and abroad. We believe the limited oil supply this world has left is better used for other purposes than personal transportation.

The Georgia Conservancy. The Georgia Conservancy is a statewide environmental organization dedicated to responsible stewardship and protection of Georgia's natural resources. Through environmental education, principled advocacy, and inclusive decision-making we strive to make Georgia a better place to live.

Georgia Department of Community Affairs, Office of Environmental Management. The Department of Community Affairs, Office of Environmental Management, provides planning and technical assistance to local governments and the public regarding environmental issues.

Georgia Forestry Commission. The mission of the Georgia Forestry Commission is to provide leadership, service, and education in protection, management, and wise use of Georgia's forest resources. The Sustainable Community Forestry Program is a new program under GFC that helps communities recognize the value of their community forest resources.

Georgia Power Company.  Georgia Power is the largest subsidiary of Southern Company. The company is an investor-owned, tax-paying utility, serving customers in 57,000 of the state’s 59,000 square miles. Georgia Power’s rates are well below the national average, and, its 2.1 million customers are in all but six of Georgia’s 159 counties.

Georgia Wildlife Federation. The Georgia Wildlife Federation, the state affiliate of the National Wildlife Federation, is purposed to encourage the intelligent management of the life sustaining resources of the earth - its essential water resources - its protective forests and plant life - and its dependent wildlife - and to promote and encourage the knowledge and appreciation of these resources, their interrelationship and wise use, without which there can be little hope for a continuing abundant life.

Hands On Atlanta. Hands On Atlanta meets critical need through volunteer service and civic engagement. Volunteer opportunities are available for children through adults. We offer flexible volunteer projects 365 days per year. Free membership to receive a bi-monthly magazine of projects in need as well as access to sign up on line. We offer one hour internal and external.

HATMA (Hartsfield Area TMA). Providing Commute Solutions to Companies, Employees, and Communities in the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Area. Assists in forming carpools and vanpools -Offers discounted transit passes -Participates in corporate and community transportation advocacy.

Integrated Wellness (cancelled but register for door prizes at SmartBodies). Michael Clark has been providing massage therapy to the Southern Crescent area for 12 years and celebrates 10 years of service with Integrated Wellness. He provides therapy at the Reis Chiropractic Clinic in McDonough and SmartBodies Wellness Center on campus. He specializes in chair, sports, and lymphedema treatment. Integrated wellness will provide chair massages from 12:45 pm - 3 p.m. and will have a drawing for 2 half-hour gift certificates.

LifeLink of Georgia. LifeLink of Georgia is an independent, non-profit organ and tissue recovery organization dedicated to serving patients in need of transplant therapy and their families. This organization is one of six divisions of LifeLink Foundation, located in Tampa, Florida.

Reynolds Nature Preserve. Reynolds Nature Preserve, located in Morrow, is a 146 acre woodland habitat that works to protect the air, soil and water through environmental education. With 4.5 miles of trails and 5 ponds, it is ideal for hiking, jogging & quiet contemplation.

RSM Project.  Right from the Start Medicaid is a DHR outreach program that promotes State and Federal funded Insurance programs as well as other grant programs that help Georgia's families. The RSM Project will be handing out applications  and answering questions on how to apply for State  health benefits, free medications. and more...

The Sierra Club. The Sierra Club is the nation's oldest and largest grassroots environmental organization. The Sierra Club’s motto is “explore, enjoy and protect the planet.” For more information on current campaigns in your community or how to get involved, please check out www.georgia.sierraclub.org.

Southern Crescent Sexual Assault Center. Southern Crescent Sexual Assault Center (SCSAC) is a non-profit organization that seeks to reduce the threat of sexual assault on a local level through prevention, intervention, and education. SCSAC provides support on our 24 hr crisis hotline, respond to victims at the local hospital emergency rooms, and offers referrals to community resources.

Vegetarian Society of Georgia. VSG is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to promoting healthy, humane and earth-friendly lifestyles. We serve as a resource for vegetarians and nonvegetarians, with publications and events. Visit www.vegsocietyofga.org or call 770-664-4019. All are welcome!

BSU Baptist Student Union. Clayton State’s BSU is a student-led, church-related, and Christ-centered organization devoted to sharing Jesus through fun, fellowship, and Bible Study. Stop by and pick up a free bottle of water (while supplies last).

Clayton State University Bookstore. Auxiliary Services at Clayton State University provides a variety of retail services to the campus community. The units of Auxiliary Services the University Bookstore, Dining Services, the LakerCard Center, Campus Vending, and SmartPrint (student networked printing). The Bookstore recycles books and the LakerCard Center recycles cell phones.

Clayton State University Parking/Communications. Parking/Communication responsibilities include: issuing parking permits and registration of vehicles, providing 24/7 emergency and non-emergency services, official Lost and Found for the university, and background checks.

Clayton State University RideShare. Clayton State's University RideShare Program began in October 2001 and encourages all employees and students to register with 1-87-Ridefind to find potential carpool partners. This program also provides information about transit and works with Parking/Communications to encourage less traffic on campus. This program is part of the Department of Public Safety and works closely with the Clean Air Campaign and the Atlanta Regional Commission, 1-87-RIDEFIND. We are currently collecting good used bikes to be painted and used on campus by employees and students. Stop by and register, check to verify that you are still on the ridematch list, or update your information and receive a free Earth Day gift.

Nurse Managed Clinic at Clayton State University. Students can receive unlimited office visits with one of our health professionals and can receive immediate medical attention for non life threatening illness or injuries. Appointments are required but "walk-in" visits are available for acute illness. There are additional charges for meds, medical supplies, lab services and evaluations by the Doctor. A doctor is available once a week by appointment only for a cost of $5.00. The total cholesterol screening test is $5 for students, staff and faculty as well as the public. Science Association. The Science Association is an active club at CSU that likes to get involved in all areas of science. We enjoy going on outings, like camping and rafting, we travel to Graduate Schools and support students in presenting their research at science conferences across the United States. Will have information on how students can be more environmentally friendly and distribute seeds packets to promote growing of flowers/trees.

SmartBodies Wellness Center.  SmartBodies provides CSU employees, students and local residents a comfortable environment in which to workout and a professional staff to assist with your health and fitness goals. SmartBodies provides a variety of cardiorespiratory and weight training equipment to facilitate one's transition from a sedentary lifestyle to an active lifestyle. SmartBodies encourages everyone to physically move more and to sit less.

The HUB The HUB is the frontline technical support center for Clayton State University. We provide support for student, faculty, and staff technical problems, as well as provide support for students needing help with school related applications. We strive to make sure technology enhances the learning process at CSU. The HUB has two locations. Our main troubleshooting and hardware repair location, the Service Counter and Software installation in Student Software Support Services (SSSS). The HUB will provide information regarding recycling various computer parts such as batteries and hard drives. Also, will have contact information available for the companies that provide these and similar services will be provided.

Volunteer Services at Clayton State University. The Volunteer Services Resource Office is designed to serve as a Resource Center for Clayton State students. Our main objective is to get Clayton State Students out of the classroom and into the community to apply what they are learning. We refer students to specific agencies and organizations, based on individual interests, and we also help coordinate campus-wide cooperative projects, ex. Tsunami Relief Drive.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.  Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was founded January 16, 1920 on the campus of Howard University. The members of this organization strive to set the bar high for scholarship, service, sisterly love, and finer womanhood. The Iota Sigma chapter have served Clayton County in various community service, such as clothing drives, the AIDSwalk, and the March of Dimes project for over 2 years. The ladies of the Iota Sigma chapter upholds the same principles on campus as well as in the community.
