Redd Horrocks

Redd Horrocks works in the Office of Admissions and is an associate editor of the Bent Tree. Redd is the University Rideshare’s “Transportation Champion” for the month of September.
Redd lives in Lawrenceville, which is 55 miles away from Clayton State. She received this award because of all our registered carpoolers and participants in the “Take the Clean Air Challenge”, Redd worked the hardest to get to Clayton State University. She carpools occasionally with a friend but takes public transportation on other days. Redd has been involved with the University RideShare program over a year and carpools frequently. The benefits of carpooling include saving on gas money, having company on the long drive, and helping the environment by starting and driving one less car. It usually takes her about two and one-half hours to get to school each day. As a result, she has to get up at 5:30am to arrive at school at 9:00am. We congratulate Redd Horracks for being the “Transportation Champion of the Month”.
