CAPP (Curriculum, Advising & Program Planning) Instructions
- Log into the
DUCK
- Select Student Services & Financial Aid
- Student Records
- Curriculum Advising & Program Planning
(CAPP)
- Select a maximum registration term (CAPP uses
in-progress courses) and click submit
- Verify degree and major are correct.
- If information is correct, select Generate
New Evaluation. If information is incorrect,
please submit a major request via the DUCK.
- Click program radial button, select a
maximum registration term (CAPP uses in-progress
courses) and then click on Generate Request.
- Select desired display option:
- General Requirements – general
degree information and requirements.
NOTE – GPA is
calculated using only courses selected
to satisfy requirements. Overall GPA
includes transfer credit.
- Detail Requirements – general
information and requirements including
specific courses required. HINT – If a
course is underlined, click on
the course to view the course
description. Once on the course
description, click on the underlined
words in Schedule Type to view available
courses.
- Additional Information – view
Legislative Requirements, Regents’
Requirements, In-Progress Courses,
Courses Not Used, Rejected Courses,
Program Restricted Grades, and Program
Restricted Subjects/Attributes.
- Other Options Available
- View Previous Evaluations – select desired
evaluation and display option. Submit
- What If Analysis
- Select Entry Term
(catalog),
Click Program, Campus should remain
NONE, select First Major. If information
is correct, select Generate Request and
then desired display option.
