How to Register Online Using the DUCK
- Click the DUCK button on the Clayton State University homepage (www.clayton.edu) or go to http://duck.clayton.edu. Enter the DUCK system via Personal Access. You must have a personal identification number (PIN). Click on HELP for instructions on what to do if you have forgotten your PIN.
- From the Main Menu click on Academic and Financial Information for Students.
- From the Academic and Financial Information for Students click on Registration.
- From the Registration Menu click on Build Your Class Schedule.
- Select the Term: Select the Current Term, than press the Submit Term button.
- Enter the CRN numbers of the courses you want to take
into provided textboxes.
- In the form provided at the bottom of screen page, type the CRN for each course.
- When you have finished entering CRN numbers click on SUBMIT CHANGES.
- Look for error messages.
- If course sections on your tentative schedule are closed, you can use the CLASS SEARCH feature to find alternate sections.
- If you have a corequisite, prerequisite, or placement test score error that you believe is incorrect, contact the school or department responsible for the course during normal business hours.
- When you have finished selecting courses and have confirmed your schedule, click on menu on the top bar. From the Registration menu select the HOW MUCH DO I OWE for a complete listing of charges and applicable financial aid.
- If you wish to pay your fees by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or AmEx), click on the "Pay Fees Online" button.
- When you are finished and have checked your fees, print a copy of your schedule (Student Schedule by Day & Time or Student Detail Schedule) for your records. Schedules can be printed from any PRINT SMART location.
- When you are done, be sure to exit the DUCK and the browser completely to avoid someone else accessing your student file.
Buy your textbooks online! You can purchase your textbooks in the traditional way at the Campus Store or you can buy on line. Go to Clayton State Universityestore.com (or go to the Campus Store from the Offices menu on the Clayton State University homepage, www.clayton.edu.) This will site will tell you how to purchase textbooks and other course materials via the Internet.
Important reminder about payment deadlines! Your fees must be paid in full by the deadline for the period in which you registered or your registration will be cancelled. Your classes will NOT be held for you if you fail to pay on time! If you are receiving financial aid, be sure to check to see if you owe a balance after aid has been applied.
