International Students
International students at Clayton State University currently come from countries ranging from Albania to Zimbabwe and many places in between. Our suburban location and our proximity to the city of Atlanta allow our students to experience the best of two different worlds. We value our international students and the contributions they make to our campus community. Because of the diversity of the Atlanta metropolitan area, we are fortunate to have various types of international students. Some are US citizens who have been educated abroad and others have come here to study. We are proud to have a large number of permanent residents as well as many others in various categories.
All international applicants must provide:
- Immunization form signed by health care provider
- Completed application for admission
- Application fee
- Official copies of school transcripts and test scores with certified translation
- Applicants whose first language is not English must

The requirement for SAT/ACT scores for international students is the same as for US students with one important exception: a student applying for admission from outside the US is exempt from the SAT/ACT requirement if the student demonstrates English proficiency as prescribed by the University, has a 2.00 high school GPA, and does not have the opportunity to take the SAT/ACT prior to entering the US on an F-1 visa.
