Fitness Assessment
Effective July 1, 2008, only
mini-assessments will be provided. Each new member is required
to undergo a mini-assessment which (for a small fee).
The mini-assessment includes:
- Review of your Health-history questionnaire
- Blood Pressure Check
- Heart Rate Check
- Calculation of your target training zone
- Body Mass Index (BMI)
- Orientation to each piece of weight-training equipment
During your scheduled assessment, you will be fitted on each piece of Universal weight-training equipment and instructed on its use. The fitness instructor will emphasize proper technique which helps in the prevention of musculoskeletal injuries and promotes overall safety.
