Mission

To participate in the process of university governance by acting in an advisory capacity to the University President
To represent all members of the Clayton State staff
To facilitate communication throughout the University

Staff Council serves the employees of Clayton State by offering professional development activities, scholarship opportunities, the Staff Matters newsletter, and a forum through which to voice concerns.

...Performs

Staff Council performs by acting as an advocate for all members of the Clayton State staff. Monthly meetings provide a forum through which to discuss concerns and receive information.

...Supports

Staff Council supports the Clayton State staff through three standing committee: Elections, Professional Development and Smith Awards.
