Fourth Annual Chili Cook Off

Sponsored by Women’s Forum (Not just for Women - Men Are Encouraged to Participate) (In conjunction with Women's Forum Online Auction) Wednesday, November 14, 2007 11:30 am – 1:00 pm (or until the chili runs out)   •Bring your best pot of chili, cheese (or appropriate topping), and crackers, Fritos, or chips (large bags or boxes) that most compliments your chili so we can see who has the best chili.  Also, plan to decorate your table. •Complete an application •Two judging categories:   Judges' Choice  and People's Choice •Judges' Choice -- Judged by committee People's Choice -- Judged by attendees who vote for their favorite •Prize given for best chili in each judging category •Bring chili to University Center lower level (across from the Bookstore) by 10:15 a.m. on November 14. You may leave chili at this time and then pick up your empty pot from1:15 – 1:30 p.m.   Approximately 20 Electrical cords & multi plugs will be available.   Judging begins promptly at 10:30 a.m. for the Judges' Choice Award.  Pre-registration is required in order to be considered for judging.  Judges will select a winning chili for the Judges' Choice Award based upon: taste, aroma, texture, originality and table decorations.    The People's Choice Award will be selected by attendees who purchase chili and vote for their favorite entry.   The chili entry receiving the most votes will be the winner.   Chili will be served from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm (or until the chili runs out) to anyone on campus (or anyone coming for the Women's Forum Online Auction).
